Mercy Ecology at Mercy Ecospirituality Center
We call Mercy Ecospirituality Center an eco-spiritual center because coming to know our relationship with nature is a spiritual practice – one that interacts with all of our senses. Spiritual practice invites us to contemplate and engage in the world in an intentional way that is dedicated to developing a more insightful, mature relationship with self and the world – a way that is profoundly meaningful and fulfilling. We invite you to come to Mercy Ecospirituality Center to be engaged, to observe and contemplate what this space has to offer.
Mercy Ecospirituality Center focuses on connecting people with nature and healing the Earth through school and community outreach, farming, gardening, and more. It is the perfect location for a retreat for staff or individuals who wish to take time away to reflect and enjoy nature.
Mercy Ecospirituality Center is committed to protecting the environment, the health and safety of our employees, guests, and volunteers and the community in which we conduct our business. It is our policy to seek improvements throughout our business operations to lessen our impact on the local and global environment by conserving energy, water, and other natural resources; reducing waste generation; recycling and purchasing recycled products; and reducing our use of toxic materials.
Guests come to the Center for a change, to help out on the farm, or to make a private retreat. We are also available to help individuals design time to meet their needs. For overnight guests, the farm house has six bedrooms with two twin beds in each for single or double room occupancy; one bedroom is on the first floor. Wireless internet is available throughout the house, as well as a library and other meeting spaces.
Guest accommodations include three meals a day; breakfast and lunch are available for pick up in the farm house kitchen, and dinner is served nightly. Cost: $65 a night.
